Zi Ping Bazi

Chinese metaphysics
that actually gets
the chart right.

Most tools and AI chatbots miscalculate the Four Pillars. We follow documented Zi Ping conventions: Li Chun year boundary, solar-term months, and transparent rule-based readings - consistent every time.

A complete Four Pillars reading

From the precise calculation of your pillars to a nuanced reading of your Day Master, elements, and Ten Gods - all framed for genuine reflection.

Correct Four Pillars

Year pillar changes at Li Chun, not January 1 or Chinese New Year. Month pillars follow the 12 solar terms. Day pillar from a documented 60-cycle anchor.

Day Master Profile

Your Day Master (日主) is the reference point of the chart. Understand the archetype of your specific one of the ten stems and what it says about your natural tendencies.

Five Elements Balance

See the distribution of Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, and Water across your chart - what is strong, what is weak, and what is absent.

Ten Gods Analysis

The Ten Gods (十神) reveal the dynamics in your chart: personality, career leanings, relationship tendencies, and wealth patterns - with transparent explanations.

Hidden Stems (藏干)

Each branch contains hidden stems that add depth. We surface them in the chart grid so you can see the full picture, not just the surface layer.

Save Your Chart

"The pillar is either correct or it is not. There is no approximate in Bazi."

Many online calculators and AI systems use the wrong year boundary (January 1 or Chinese New Year instead of Li Chun), approximate solar-term dates, or skip hidden stems entirely. These are not minor differences - they change the chart. BeyondBazi follows documented Zi Ping conventions and states them openly.

  • Year pillar at Li Chun: The astrological year begins around February 4 when the sun enters 315 degrees, not at the Lunar New Year.
  • Month pillar by solar terms: Bounded by the 12 Jie, calculated from an accurate lookup table covering 1920 to 2030.
  • Day pillar from documented anchor: 1900-01-31 = Jia Zi (甲子, cycle index 0). Every day pillar traces back to this anchor.
  • Zi hour convention stated: We use Early Zi (23:00-23:59 = current day). The convention is labelled clearly in the calculator.
  • Transparent heuristics: Day Master strength uses a simplified rule-based method. We tell you that - no opaque "master analysis" claims.
